Fuel Poverty Awareness Day

Fuel Poverty Awareness Day

It is estimated that over three million households in the UK are living in fuel poverty. Fuel poverty is a term referenced when a household is unable to afford to heat their home to the temperature needed to stay warm.

Being in fuel poverty can be caused by a number of different factors from low incomes, rising energy prices and inadequate heating, poor insulation and ventilation.*

How are City Energy helping?

We are an energy efficiency consultancy and installer who continues to ‘set the bar’ amongst our contemporaries and within the energy industry.

Our primary objectives are to reduce fuel poverty, remove carbon and give our customers warmer homes. Our delivery schemes include Warm Home, ECO, Flex and Green Homes Grant.

In recognition of Fuel Poverty Awareness day, we are delighted to announce that we have successfully delivered one of our many warm homes fund programmes. It is a welcomed coincidence that we are able to announce the successful delivery of this scheme today, of all days. Working alongside our incredible partners at the local authority we have helped improve the heating efficiency and standard of living of approx. to 150 families.

Our commitment to reducing fuel poverty and our desire to improve the lives of customers that need our help the most is reflected perfectly by the achievements and successes yielded under the scheme. Not being a company to stand on their laurels, we are actively lobbying to expand the scheme to help even more of the families we have engaged with. Our commitment to reducing fuel poverty is at the heart of everything we do and is reflected in every facet of our operation.
